Question I have to ask, re: Trooper Taylor...

Why do people hate Trooper Taylor so much? I knew the guy from a few years back when he was at Tulane, not extremely well mind you but we had some mutual friends and crossed paths from time to time (yes, I literally partied with Trooper Taylor).

He always seemed like a decent guy. A tad over-exuberant on the field at times but I remember him being a pretty good guy.

Just curious what everyone's beef was.

...but I like there to be a significant gap in maturity between my coaches and my players. Trooper doesn't project that. Neither did Will Muschamp, who by all accounts is a fantastic coach. Note this is not an age issue. I thought Brian Schottenheimer (OC for the Jets) came off great in this year's Hard Knocks, and he's younger than at least one of the players on his team (Brunell).

Everyone has grown tired of his antics on the sideline. From getting in an oposing players face to taunting the other teams crowd.

Disclaimer: The ones that complain the most about Taylor are the ones who get beat by Auburn (UM&MSU)</p>
