Even though the Big 12 championship game has yet to be played. Can SEC teams accept a bid if it is offered before the SECCG?

What the hell is the cotton bowl doing? Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State are sitting there, but they make an early offer to Texas A&M?

I think they're banking on a Texas A&M/Bama matchup. Strange, but they're going to end up with the 4th best best team in the Big XII.

Teams like Mizzou and Ok State are getting royally screwed by this. The Cotton Bowl is more prestigious than the Insight and Holiday bowls.... and it's much easier to travel to the Cotton Bowl than the other ones. Honestly, I don't see how the Big12 allowed it to happen.

OU, Nebraska, Ok State, and Mizzou are all 10-2....A+M is at 9-3. All 5 teams have 6-2 conference records. Mizzou trounced A+M in College Station, which I why I place them, as well as Ok State, OU, and Nebraska ahead of them in the rankings.

They surely gave a look at the SEC this summer. This might just be saying thank you and we want to try to take care of you.
