I'm responding to my own post to correct it!! Westinghouse has 12 points from "wins of defeated opponents", and Naz has 9 so far. Completely opposite of what I said. My bad. So that means that Naz could very well come to Sterling for a first round matchup. We will see how it all shakes out. It would be interesting to hear how those in the know think SHS and Naz match up! If Thornridge gets in it doesn't matter but Naz is a possibility.

Well I really believe Sterling can compete with anyone in 5A but it would be nice to get easier draw for sure! Time will tell. Too many variables for my old brain
Very fun game to be at. Whether or not they converted great call to go for 2 by the Sterling coaching staff in the 2nd ot. Dekalb had scored easily on their 2 ot possessions so being on the road it was the time to try and end it. Great play call to get the conversion. Don't know how they'll do in 6a but Dekalb has some studs. Will be interesting how things shake out tomorrow, could be the top 2 teams talent wise in the north squaring off round 1 if Sterling and Naz are the 1 & 16. As far as being top dog, I don't know. On paper I'd say yes but if you're a team that's never made it past the quarterfinals it will be all about taking it one game at a time.
