Was that the best D we've have since Emory early 80's teams?
That was the best d we ever had - ever. We were two deep with all-SEC talent at DL, future NFL'ers at LB, and two shutdown corners.
Just off the top of my head:
DL - Wyms, Golliday, Connor Stephens, Sluder, McKinley, Dorsett Davis, Blade.
LB - Haggan, Grant, Simpson
CB - Smoot, Bean
S - Prather, Cooper, Clinton, Nelson
I'm sure I'm even forgetting a few. We had really good players - like Kenzaki Jones, who never saw the field outside of special teams.
