First off, I believe Cohen has done a pretty good job the last two years. But my problem is the lack of depth we have. Yes we do have some injuries but even before the injuries we had depth issues. No offense to guys like Frost, Britton, Fullerton, Ammirati, and Jones but they are not SEC caliber players. Florida and South Carolina would not even let these kids even try out to walk on. And yes i know they hustle and fit Cohen's style but they are simply not SEC caliber. Cohen needs to stop creating his own "style" and go with what is working for a lot of other teams. Guys who can hit for power and can play small ball. Yes, Texas wins playing small ball but they have guys with 10+ Home Runs too. Part of being a head coach is creating depth and I know we are young but in year 4 why are we young? The pitching has greatly improved but after this year we will lose Routt, Reed, and probably Stratton and who knows when Bracewell can pitch again (back at square 1). And i do not know why he gives Woodruff, Gaines, Girodo and etc. chances over Pollorena. Yes he got shelled a couple of times last year but it was against Florida who did that to everybody. He pitched like 14 straight scoreless innings against a ranked Southern team. So the potential and experience is there. That is all.
