Saturday was a perfect day at DNF. As for the field itself, the grass was very pretty. The warning track had a more reddish look, but other than that I couldn't tell much difference. Most of the improvements are underground and the dougouts were expanded somewhat. The level of pitching was so much better, which to me is the big improvement!

good college pitchers are normally going to be good their Freshman year. It doesn't take 2 years to get them to produce. Doesn't mean they won't continue to get better in their career but I think we will see tremendous overall team improvement THIS year with all the new young, highly recruited arms.
