Shouldn't Ole Miss have been penalized when Kimdeechee came in at rb with a guy at running back with the same number? I'm assuming that's why he changed to 99 in the second half after Mullen bitched.

According to the announcers whichever one came in 2nd at RB should have been ejected. The NCAA needs to just go ahead and make the rule that no 2 players can dress out for a game with the same number. The current rule is ridiculous.

Yes, the rule is 15 yard penalty and potential ejection if the determination is that it is an intentional effort to confuse the other team.

Lots of stuff went against us tonight with the officiating:

- the aforementioned number-gate
- two turnovers (a fumble and a pic) that the refs didn't call...and Mullen inexplicably didn't challenge
- The "late hit" they called Nickoe for when Wallace was the one who actually hit him.
- A couple of blatant holds by their WRs on bubble screens
- The **** talk and taunting they did all night that was let go

Not excusing Mullen, because he should have challenged, but shouldn't that crap be reviewed anyway? The replay official should have stopped the game on both of those. EVERY PLAY is supposed to be reviewed by the replay official. There was plenty on both of those plays to stop the game to look at the play further. If crap like that is let go, then the system isn't working as designed.

Mullen shouldn't have to challenge that. Still should've.
