One of my uppity friends obsessed with student government told me Dorman is getting rebricked in ~5 years. They just renovated the auditorium, and there's nothing wrong with the interior outside of that. It's a science building. It's not going to have leather seats and fancy stairwells like McCool. It's going to have vinyl tiles and industrial looking hallways.
Personally I like the building other than the 70's looking longhorn orange brick. The cement accents around the windows will look cool when they don't stick out so much. Just take it all in. It's a process. We're not the only ones who think it looks like ****.
ETA: Bowen just had a facelift, but because it's a beautiful building already they just went ahead and used the original brick. But my entire senior year they were removing panels and remortering huge sections. It looks great now. Dorman will get the same treatment, but I would image they'd just use the sectional brick like the stadium and cut the project's time in half.
