They are going down to North Hall, Ga for a 4 team scrimmage. Christmas coached at JF, then North Hall, & back to JF. When he was in Georgia they traveled to Va for a benefit, once against Amherst & once against Salem. He likes to travel early to bond the team together. They'll be coming to Salem the following week for a benefit game.
I assume Amherst is still traveling to FL 9/4, it's still on their schedule.
Coach Cbhristmas is a top tier coach. Very smart man.
Coach Mills takes the team to a place for a week for the same bonding reason. No phones, social media, etc. Parents can come up to check on their boys when they practice, otherwise, no outside contact. The boosters go up and feed them, so they have that contact, but basically they live with each other
only, for solid week.
When they break camp, it's directly to Va Beach for the first scrimmage with only a bathroom break in-between. They stop and dress out at N-S Academy. They get off the bus at the scrimmage wound up and ready to knock heads.
It's a great plan. Incidentally, this is already a highly cohesive group of guys. I'm really excited about these boys. Truly a special bunch.
