McCollum has now assembled a pretty good roster. A few question marks in there, depth may or may not be a problem, but he should have a solid starting 5 to compete in the BigTen. This is going to be fun to watch…..and yes I enjoy watching good defense!
How does he fit into the rotation? Seems like we have a bit of a 4 log jam.

I can see why, at 6'8", he was tired of playing against small kids in high school & was ready for the next challenge

I wonder if he is still growing? He is going to college a year earlier than most....
Great addition of depth for this season and hopefully can be a quality starter down the road. Not everyday we beat out that kist if teams for a recruit.
His passing is what stuck out the most to me from the clips. Running the “point forward” and just dropping dimes on the break

I’m cautiously optimistic about the future of Iowa basketball.
It bodes well for the future.
Outside of Tyler Cook, I can’t think of one out-of-state recruit Fran landed who was actually coveted by other P4 schools. Luka Garza had a few decent offers, but that’s about it.
Hopefully, this works out to be a big get by BMC and Iowa. I'm more excited about this season of MBB than I've been in many years.
