And the appropriate response/question is, “so what?” Let me know if they end up spending the night in the hospital....
And that’s the problem with the world we live in. The media has to give us breaking news every time some B lister tests positive as if we all have to know. Because we’ve been indoctrinated that Covid is bad, expect people to react the same way when football players test positive too.

I agree, but I am also realistic to know how over the top we are right now.. kids getting this will be a huge issues for schools to work around because of public pressure..

It's not good.
I agree it’s not good and it is bad. I’m just saying don’t expect parents to shrug it off just because someone isn’t hospitalized. Testing positive with or without sickness is enough to alarm people.

It's not good.
It’s no worse then the 1968-69 Flu pandemic that actually killed 100,000 Americans (would be 170,000 based on today’s population) and you had to die from complications of the flu for it to count not just test positive after a car accident. Also by the way that flu still circulates the world every year as a seasonal influenza A virus. There were protests and upheaval during 1968 across the country, but somehow life went on, sports were played and they even had a tiny event at the end of the epidemic call Woodstock. A vaccine will maybe come sooner or later for covid but it’s time to move on and protect whomever needs it till then. Fear is ruling all this and it’s like we have never had this happen before and that is simply not true.
