Bucky worked it, got the players in, and got them signed. I for one am NOT holding my breath for when the NCAA's gonna drop the hammer on them.
What we at The Mississippi State University need to do is study how a Sunbelt-level school, with questionable academics, checkered history, and no record of being relevant to the sports world since John F. Kennedy was President, was able to pull a Top 20 class. They did some things that tMSU should study and adapt to their recruiting tactics:
-Buy more national recruiting magazines. The University of Ole Miss spends the highest per capita on recruiting magazines and Web sites. If State even wants to start sniffing the Top Ten, there needs to be more MSU fans to piss off and threaten to cancel their subscriptions when they say someone's not interested in our school or is leaning to a rival.
-Quit adopting children "because they're without families and desperately need someone to love them and become part of their family". We need to begin looking at size, bench-press, and 40 times.
-Mississippi State has as many skanksluts and ho-bags as the university of ole miss. We need to get them on board with our recruiting. For the prospective Christian athletes (or at least their Christian parents), we need "good, Christian girls" who'll flock to FCA or BSU meetings and "felt led" to befriend recruits (ie, Christian skanksluts and ho-bags).
-See a 5-* with an older brother. Recruit the older brother.
-Recruit more two-sport athletes. The only way you can get a 4-* or 5-* to even look at The Mississippi State University for now is to let them play two sports. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, etc. can afford to renege on a promise that a big-time player can play two sports....tMSU can't for now. Don't give me that ******** about how "they need to concentrate on one sport"....80% of a 5-* talent in two sports beats 100% of a 2-* talent.
