Is it just me or does this quote seem eerily familiar? Just on the other side of the ball. Please don't tell me we're running the West Coast defense.

To me, it did not appear to be very complicated. There were no advanced blitzing packages or anything that resembled an attacking defense.

maybe blitzing is more simple than trying to play zone all day.

Read and react my ***. Find the ball and knock the **** out of them.

but I have no doubt he will hold someone accountable...no county club mentality:

<font face="Georgia"><font face="Georgia">Mullen was asked how he took the loss and will respond, and said this: "You have to lock in, work in coaching, fix the mistakes you saw in film," he said. "That's number one. ... I despise losing. It gives you a sick feeling in the bottom of your stomach. That's about how I feel emotionally. But as a coach, it's important that we really evaluate what we are, what we're doing, and we put our players in the best position possible to make plays on the field."</font>

Simplify is right... simply put another big ugly on the line and run a 4-3 when their asses are getting knocked off the ball to just try something. I mean... not to knee jerk or anything... but it was obvious that some tuning needed to be made when they called the same running play three times in a row in the third quarter and it provided the same 6-7 yard results three times in a row.
