Sidney cost Stans his job. There were other factors too of course, but if Sidney hadn't been the biggest piece of **** we've ever had (or even if he hadn't come to MSU at all), we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today.

I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing based on potential but you are correct. I also think he was just ready to do something else for a while. Hopefully the new coach will get his advice on Pollard and then right the ship.

After some time off, I am sure he will get recharged and want to coach again. I wish him the best. Unfortunately he bet the farm on RS and lost....much like JWS did with Dontae Walker. Sidney will probably end up much like Walker.
