You know no one has really been talking about them, myself included; But Coach Girolmo has got those boys playing lights out right now. This is a team who lost by 1 point to a pretty good Turner Ashby squad, and gave Goochland a run for there money early in the season as well.

Could be a very dangerous squad come playoff time as they get more and more use to Girolmo's system.

I didn't go to any games last night, but saw Lee play Waynesboro two weeks ago. Lee has cut down on the mistakes they made early in the season. You're right, teams won't want them in the playoffs.

Discipline has always been the problem at Lee. They are always stacked with athletes. I know it's still early but it's looking like Coach Girolmo is making a huge difference in the one area that always cost this team.

Assuming they win next week against Broadway, then an all but guaranteed win against Fort to end the year, not only will they rack up points for playing 3A in district opponents, they will also be able to rest starters against Fort.

In a year when the East has no clear favorite, Lee has just a good a chance as anyone of sneaking through

Lee will be a powerhouse very soon. I have heard nothing but good things about the coach and the accountability/responsibility he is instilling in these young men. There is a gluttony of athletes at Lee and if he gets them all pointed in the same direction, look out. Good luck to them down the stretch and into the playoffs.

They have shown improvement every week. After the first couple weeks I really thought this would be the worst team Lee fielded in years, because they looked lost, but they have gotten better every game.

They are looking at what 44? Points if they close the year out beating Broadway and Fort? 20 for beating a 3A school plus 2 each for in district division difference. Plus rider points from all opponents. They could make a strong push up the rankings.

I'm wrong. Harrisonburg is 4A. They beat them they'll get 26 plus rider points. Lee could make some huge jumps
