Id rather see Radford play Honaker than Galax at this point. I don't think Honaker is a good #1 seed. I honestly believe Radford would win that one.

I could be wrong but I think the seedings control who goes where ?? Galax is the # 3 seed. Honaker is #1. The tigers will play the lower remaining seed left after round 1 is complete which looks like #12 Auburn. #2 haysi (assuming they win tomorrow) would play #11 Patrick Henry GS. #3 Galax would play #10 Covington and then #4 George Wythe would play #8 Radford.

1 Honaker vs 8 Radford

4 GW vs 12 Auburn

2 Haysi/ Burton winner vs 10 Covington

3 Galax vs 11 PH Glade Springs

Higher seeds will host. There is NO reseeding after the 1st rounds or 2nd rounds and so on.

The speed of Radford will hurt Honaker. The run defense of Radford will hurt them. This might be the game of the week.

Actually Fort, Heath has been very generous to his hometown and everyone appreciates his generosity as he is very upstanding person but we thank EMATS for our turf field and for Richlands turf field as well. I do think the Radford/Honaker matchup will be interesting. Radford played a tough schedule so I dont think their record shows how good they are. We know this but we will see how it plays out.

The artificial turf helped Covington last year. Covington handled Honaker pretty easily (23-0 or something like that).

Yes. It did help them win, but the thing that you forget in your post is you speak of a young team from LAST season. This is not the same team as last year. And also you don't want to over look Honaker either! Wouldn't be smart. There is a reason they are 11-0.they have played quite a few tough games this year. Most recently being Haysi. haysi came in averaging 41.3 points a game and giving up 7.3 per game. That's not to shabby! Honaker put 17 on them and held their high power passing game to 7 points. Don't overlook them. They are the number 1 seed for a reason!

Re: HONAKER OVERRATED! LOL

We try to take that winning attitude with us everywhere. That statement was just my opinion, and that's it. I just believe a lot of teams were down on that side of the state.

Usually when teams come to Honaker with that attitude it changes pretty quick after getting smacked in the mouth with a little power football.

Re: HONAKER OVERRATED! LOL

I believe they played a very soft schedule. Tough, weak, good, bad, underrated, overrated. Their schedule was soft, and it was last year. Radford will be faster than you think, don't get caught with your tongues dragging the ground. Cant wait.

Radford 28 Honaker 21 Should be a good one
