Don't know enough about Honaker to make a real educated prediction. Radford's "D" is not very good. On offense, Grant is a really good running back. He's going to get some yds. The key is containing the QB Finley. Don't let him scramble then run, he's fast and elusive. Keep him contained and make him beat you with his arm. And if you have any connections with the concessions people, tell them not to cook up a bunch of food anticipating a big crowd. Radford does not travel well in football anymore. They've turned into a B-Ball school. If I had to pick, I'd say Honaker 35-22

I think honaker will/needs to play 3 yards and a cloud of rubber pellets. They will run run run and run some more and go on long clock consuming drives to keep the ball away from the speed as much as possible. The only thing with doing that is you must come away with points cant come up empty or turn the ball over.

Radford's coach has a very wild offensive imagination. You will see many different formations. Has more trick plays and gadget plays than anyone around. Never assume anything on kick-offs, punts and extra point attempts. But Honaker probably plays the kind of ball that has given Radford the most trouble. A big physical ground game, ball pounding attack, has been what's beat the Bobcats all year.

My gut says Radford should win. My computer, however, says Honaker wins by 3 touchdowns. I think it's somewhere in between and Honaker wins a relatively close one.

How in the world did Hurley put up points on Honaker? We even had or girl player on the field during 4th qter and they still couldn't score. As 60 said, you must contain the qb and watch grant. Also Radford can throw if they want two. They have two quick qbs that can run or pass. And to you 60 min. Not many from Radford are going to come out to watch Giles Beat Radford. However I remember going to Giles in 2009 to see only 200 or less Giles fans on the other side, and that was a Giles HOME GAME. I believe they had the same thing on their mind as a lot of Radford fan this year! Remember we won 5 in a row after the last time Giles graduated 17+. I'm already excited about next year. Radford is losing 1 key player in Ja Richardson to graduation.

Honaker was only up on Hurley 14-7 at the half I think unless I forgot. They are tough at the cliff and an old district foe so a lil more behind it than a trip to radford! You cant always look at the score to determine how good teams are radcats! Honaker also held a high powered haysi offense avging 43 pts a game to 7. Safe travels radcats!!! Im sure it will be a great game!! Hope u enjoy the trip to Russell County!!!

I wasn't really basing that on the Giles game. I went to the Radford/Glenvar game at Radford. I bet Radford had less than 100 people in the stands, including the band. Since it was senior night, I would assume about everyone there was parents of players, cheerleaders, and band members being recognized that night. I just figure if they're not showing up at home for a big game, they probably won't make a 3 hour trip to the far southwest.

I pray that it is a good game. Part of the reason Honaker was struggling with Hurley was the nasty muddy hole in the mountain, called the cliff. It was 3 inches of Mud in the middle of the field. We struggled to get our feeling, then after half time, we beat the tires off of them! Still safe travels and can't wait to see it be played!

I think Radford will pull this out. As long as they can move the ball down the field. Radfords D should be good enough to keep them in the game.

I look for Honaker to come out with ground and pound. I think Radford will come out in spread. I haven't seen Radford run a lot of the plays I've seen them practice in games. If Radford is going to open it up now's the time.
