I am not sure the welcome mat is out for Chip. I have a friend who was a Ducks starting player the last 2 years of Mike Bellotti’s reign in Eugene. That’s when Chip came in as the OC. He doesn’t think there is a lot of love for Chip at Oregon.
I have a friend high up there and NO CHIP isnt welcomed back. Dan Lanning isnt the type to hire Chip either.

While Oregon probably doesn't want him...he will have no problem coaching again if he wants.

****, at this point, just go coach a Non-P4 team with no pressure and enjoy

The Raiders organization is a poverty franchise and will not be anything worth spending $5 on until Mark Davis dies or sells. I used to be excited when our Huskers went to LA/Oakland. Now I’m sad for them. I haven’t enjoyed watching Raiders football in over 20 years, outside of the one good season that ended when Carr snapped his leg and his career went downward from there.

With all that, Chip Kelly is/was a scapegoat for a geriatric head coach on life support with a bum franchise. I would gladly take Chip Kelly as OC at Nebraska. It’ll never happen though.

Leaving OSU for the distant 4th place team in a 4 team division was a total head scratcher to me. He may have had more NFL talent at OSU. Reeked of a money grab at a point in his life he didn't need the money. So perhaps now that he's padded that money market account one more time, he'll be done?

I heard it said that with the center and left tackle hurt, the Raiders OL has zero linemen who are even average. It is a mess. But it was pretty obvious that Chip wasn't getting it done either. Pretty easy just to fire an OC. Pete's trying to buy himself another year.
Probably more like Brady told Davis Chip had to go.

Seriously. Would be fun to be on the sidelines of a division 3 school just doing football. No NIL. Minimal social media. Just the love of the game.

Brady influencing the Raiders is the equivalent of Michael Jordan influencing the Charlotte Hornets. Step into the GM role for five years, Tom. Let’s see what you’ve got.

There will be openings. You can probably get a 40k deal if you want but you’ll need to teach PE as well. A friend of ours is an OB/Gyn and her husband is an NAIA baseball coach, assistant AD, and I think he sells concessions at basketball games. 😁
