80% Fri and 50% Sat.

This sets the stage for another wave of rain associated with a front that will move through Friday afternoon and into Saturday morning. Beyond Saturday, the weather looks as if it will finally dry out and cool off. For more forecast details, check out the WCBI Weather Webcast.

Talking about that front stalling out over mid Mississippi Saturday now. Just what we need......more rain.

help slow down that passing attack
Some people say that unless it is raining so hard it's hard to see and catch the ball rain can actually favor a passing attack, because the receiver knows where he is going on his route and the DB doesn't. Therefore, the receiver is making a cut he can prepare for and is less likely to slip than the reacting DB.

the guy throwing a wet, heavy ball is never at any advantage. And while the WR's have the advantage of knowing where they are going, catching it while its wet is also harder. Our DB's don't know where they are going and can't cover them even if they did.

Rain favors us alot in this match-up

Traditionally, rain favors the passing team, but in our case I think you may be right. If they're going to be wide open anyway, having to throw and catch a wet ball probably works to our advantage.
