The four-star back admits that the offer from FSU caught him somewhat off-guard.
"It surprised me and I was appreciative of it," Neal said. "It is always a blessing for someone to extend a scholarship offer to me. I was surprised, thankful, and excited."
While he is appreciative of the offer, Neal made a commitment to Mississippi State back in mid-August.
"I chose Mississippi State because of their style of play and because they are graduating three senior backs," he said. "It is a place where I feel comfortable and that I enjoyed when I went."
