1. We are still 3rd in the conf in batting avg in conf games.
2. We are actually 10th in ERA in conf games. Of course, the 2 teams below us are the 2 teams we scored a bunch of runs on--Aub and SC.
3. Adkins is hitting .261 in conference and Collins is hitting .200. Duffy is at .343 and Freeman (in 27 ABs) is at .407. We need both guys in the lineup. Can one of them play corner outfield?
4. And the best stat of all: Ryan Powers has 5 errors on the season. Ryan Collins has 5 errors on the season.

One week, I think one group of players have the talent, the next week is another group.

That's pretty telling on Ryan Collins, but through the grapevine, seems that the reason Freeman and Collins haven't been effective is that they aren't completely healthy. Either way I still wish Freeman was the starting catcher right now. Yes I'd rather take my chances with him than Deloach, even with his batting average and dinky hits towards 2nd base.

Jury is still out on Adkins. Lots of teams stick big slow guys out in right field, so I wish Duffy'd go out there. Who knows, but it's getting frustrating, especially Collins and Deloach.
