It's amazing how diligent and/or lucky you have to be to get that. I've basically spent two days refreshing my browser every time something gets close to selling out, and it was sold out before I could get it.
Damn bags of crap got me going crazy.

For some reason it was saying I screwed up one of the fields in my order.
And for the record: www.wooters.us shows items 15-30 seconds before the main page.

A good friend of mine from highschool is a programmer for the St. Louis office of woot. I asked him if there were any settings I could optimize in my browser or anyting of the like to get a better shot at the BoC...his advice was all pretty straight-forward.
Make sure you're logged in.
Make sure woot has your CC info saved.
Have your CC handy or know your CCV number.
If you're able to load the page when a BoC is up, click the 'I want one' button ONCE and wait. He said it's been known to take up to 5-10 minutes for their servers to process all the requests, but they are handled in the order they are received, so if you are constantly trying to refresh pages and open new ones you're just killing your chances.
I didn't get a shot at the one today, but I've gotten in on two different BoC's. Sadly no plasma TV's or iPhones, but I like my woot bucket #1188/2000.
