Random thoughts after attending yesterdays game...

We could have won the game if not for the fumble runback.
We could have won the game if we'd kick a field goal on 4th and goal from the two.
9 penalties did not help us.
Memphis had 2 plays that kept them alive...fumble runback and punt runback.
We moved the ball with passes downfield in the last 3 minutes.
Rogers' feet are in concrete looking for a receiver and he looks too long...every pass looks like a broken play because he looks too long.
No other QB has playing time after 3 games...has bothered me since the KANG did the same and we lost the Egg Bowl because of it.
Overall we have great receivers.
Our defense allowed 17 quality points, therefore did a good job.
The whole team seems more poised and not ready to get drawn into pushing and shoving, like LSU does as well as Tulsa last year. They get up and go to the huddle without getting into pissing contests with opposing players.
I like a coach that's not in the ref's face constantly but I need a coach with a pulse.
I rooted for Mullenz yesterday, but the jury is out of a second chance.

Defense only allowed 14. That last field goal was totally set up by the great field position they had after the second on side kick attempt. Defense produced a 3 and out there if I remember correctly.

Nobody is mentioning the the Too Many players on the field which took an INT away from our defense because the DL didn’t run off the field.
