Why the hell is it that no matter who the coach is, in what era, that every MSU quarterback must regress from his freshman year forward? It's not a sophmore slump. It's a 4-year slide. Every player on the defense should have the opportunity to kick every member of the offense's nuts and continually ask "So how do YOU like it?" The defense played a magnificent game. We held the 9th ranked team in the country to 3 FREAKING points and have to pray for 2 safeties to win the game. It is obvious that the philosophy has to change on offense. NOW! But it won't. That's not the Mississippi State way. So keep the faith all you fellow Washington Generals fans. Someday we might be lucky enough to throw the bucket of confetti.
