I will burn my tickets if Edsall is the coach. I hope he goes to Syracuse where he can keep them mediocre for a decade.

Horrible game coach. Any coach dumb enough not to blitz Tom Savage doesn't deserve a job.

Got a bit hosed by Maryland. Guy can coach. Certainly better than those clamoring for Babers or Campbell.

No to Edsall, Cristabol. and especially Golden. They couldn't get it done before for different reasons, They will not get it done now, Especially Golden (Couldn't win with 4-5 star players in a week ACC, Now he is gonna win with 2-3 and a few 4 stars at Rutgers in the Big10 East? (and he mocks Rutgers).

Scum bag of a coach. Any coach that specifically calls out a player for messing up in a press conference does not deserve to work with kids.

I like Edsall, he was a force at UCONN while recruiting 2* & 3* recruits. As a matter of fact everything being equal he out performed Schiano in the Big East. However, if money is truly no issue we could do better, much better.

In my honest opinion all we need is a good coach that's a GREAT recruiter.

Even if Edsall was a good coach, it would be wrong on so many levels to hire a coach fired by a conference rival.

But isn't that to be determined? If he actually came here, recruited well and won would it really matter? If we don't start thinking like the big boys, like the programs who have a winning tradition we will forever be mired down in issues that have nothing to do with winning. He is not my first choice if money is truly no issue.

Are you taking about the guy who made his Jr CB get up in front of his team the day of a bowl game and say he leaving them after the game to go pro???? Only to not to address the team afterh the game and take a private jet to interview for the Maryland job?
