the question isn't necessarily a stellar one. Barry is a great 6th man. That's all I'll say

He is awful!! He constantly is 3-11 shooting with 3 or 4 turnovers!! He shoots too many contested 3's and often times he goes into the lane out of control and throws up a prayer that is rarely answered!! Someone explain to me how Ravern can be 6-9 shooting with 15 points at half and finish 7-12?? Who's bright idea was it to only give him 3 shots the whole 2nd half?? It's no secret he is the best offensive option we have!

for Stans to put him in that role. You would think after the third air ball that you might want to do something different with your lineup.

I'm ready for him to graduate. He's holding our team back, not necessarily all his fault. We could have a really stout lineup next year with Bost, Ravern, Osby, possibly Sidney, and possibly Varnado, but you know that Stewart just HAS to start, so I guess that means that Osby or Sidney would sit.

Heck, I was impressed with Kodi today. Let him out of the doghouse and let him play and see what happens.

Anyone know why he played and not Elgin? In terms of Barry he is really good against North Alabama and Texas A & M Corpus Christi then SEC play comes around and...well, we all know. Also, Huertas can eat my ***, what a dirty Mexican.

I couldn't believe he did that after all the **** he talked earlier this week. Brian Johnson was suspended for the same reason.</p>

bailey and johnson were both suspended for curfew, and it definitely hurt not having bailey down there to help where folks out down low

Stewart's not good enough to play w/ the big boys, plain and simple, and that's why no one else offered him.
He was good as a role player his first year when all he had to do was stand at the 3 point line and someone else would drive the lane and kick it out to him for a wide open shot. But he can't create his own shot or hit a contested 3 with any consistency, and the 2 guard is supposed to be a guy on your team that can do both.
I say we have to move forward w/ a different lineup. I'm fine w/ Turner b/c of his defense and I actually think he may be a more consistent shooter than Barry. But Osby has to be on the floor more, and hopefully Augustus.
Imagine the length, athleticism, and skill we could have on the floor w/ Ravern, Kodi, and Osby on the floor w/ Jarvis and Dee.

Barry stewart is decent, or at least he should be... IF, he knew his role. He should be on the floor for two things, and two things only: defense, and be a spot up shooter. If he would do this (or would be told to do this) it'd help the team much more. He's not very good off the dribble, can rarely create his own shot, isn't a great ball handler, and doesn't make good decisions with the ball. He's a pretty good defender and spot up shooter (at least enough to keep teams honest), and can hit a pull up jumper every now and again. With Bost at point, he should be able to get some open shots. I think our staff's hard on for Barry is because he appears to be extemely coachable, and seems to do whatever is asked. I think he's been told he has to be more of a playmaker and team leader, something he's just not. He's a role player, and shouldn't be asked to do more.
