Very probable considering we were #1 and Bama was #5. TCU almost lost to an unranked team with 3 wins on the season. I see us falling no worse than 3rd, Bama being 2, Oregon 1 and IF FSU hangs on then they are 4th. If FSU loses then they go to 5 and tOSU goes to 4. Bama and Oregon could flip though.

In my opinion, we have a good chance. The main reason I think this is cause after the close LSU loss OM was at 4. If miami can hang on I like our chances even better.

It really will come down to the egg bowl for us. An 11-1 season with a 5 point loss at bama shouldn't keep us out.

I'm going to guess, we will be about #6

and with all of the football left to play, that might be good enough for now.

If FSU loses they'll drop down close to #10. No wins over ranked teams after Clemson and the Irish drop out after losing today. And the ACC is terrible. If FSU loses I think we'll drop no lower than 5. And remember, Oregon and Arizona State would play in the PAC 12 championship game, which will knock one of those teams out. We're still in pretty good shape if we win out.

You aren't factoring in SoS at all. If you think we fall to 6 then you are saying we haven't beaten anyone. We have the best loss in the nation. No way we fall out of Top 4 on Tuesday. The committee takes quality of wins and quality of losses heavily to determine ranking. Even if FSU holds on their Strength of Schedule is horrible as is Ohio States and Oregon's. The committee has shown numerous times already that the SEC West is the top group in the nation.

I think our odds are still high, but LSU and Auburn losing (as they are now) takes some of the luster off those wins.

Auburn, LSU and A&M might all be four loss teams at the end of the season. We need Ole Miss to beat Arkansas next week so they'll still be top 10 when we play them in the Egg Bowl. That would be our best win of the season if we were to get it.

And those 3 8-4 teams would still have a better strength of schedule than any other conferences top 10 teams.

Our Strength of Schedule is taking some real hits tonight. Auburn lost bad, Kentucky got trashed, and Texas A&M is losing. LSU is losing, but Arkansas is also on our schedule, so I don't know how bad that hurts us....but LSU and TAMU both dropping out of the Top 25 can't be good.

I think we will drop to 5. Maybe 6. But we still have chance....

I think we fall way back. Our OoC sked is about to get hammered over and over again. Should've beaten Bama. SEC. is getting one team and its them. Sucks.

I think we will drop out of the top 4. We didn't look good today and you have to figure the committe watched our game. Seeing 25-20 doesn't look bad but we appeared to be in over our heads most of the game. Combine that with three mediocre performances the prior three weeks and we are out of the top 4. We could still work our way in if things work out well the next few weeks.

People, if we win out, and vandy win is 14+, we are in. Just relax. If I'm wrong, I'll buy everybody on this thread a miller light, but I'm right.

I doubt we're in the top 4 now. The media hates the hell out of us.

The media does not matter. Only the 12 voices on the committee matter.

What one loss team has a better loss? Win the next two and we are in, period.

Our horrible non-conference schedule is going to be picked apart and really hurt us. It didn't matter when we were undefeated but it could come into play now. All of our really good wins lost today, with LSU and auburn getting trounced. Takes a lot of the shine off those victories. Really, really need FSU to lose a game. Maybe Baylor and tcu too.
