Maybe Aubrey can knock some sense back into Kanye and make him not completely suck again.

^ that album is from 1994 bub, my "golden era".
Gonna try to teach you. Again. I do big picture. Anything before 2003, I've heard. After 2003, it's hit or miss when it comes to rap. Some of the tracks you guys are hipping me to are definitely AFTER 2003, when I didn't follow the game as hard as I formerly did.

Here's one of the hits that I kept an eye on after 2003. La Coka Nostra. "Cousin of Death"

Come to my rap thread and say that to my e-face @krazykats

Ja rule and 2pac both suffered from little man syndrome.

Ja Rule made an ep/album with Pac's boy Husein Fatal (RIP). It sucked just like Pac's stuff with outlawz.

They were both gangsta to the core, but also made great money/fame in different realms.

Ja Rule and Big were both from New Yaaaawk (new yaawk). That's it. Comparisons stop there.

2pac is an overrate emotional *****, and Ja is like a much, much dumber version of that. Similar personalities and stature. If only Pac wasn't so much like Ja, he might still be here.

I have no idea what's going on in the current rap game. Schoolboy flopped/retired. Kdot had a feature on something that sounded suspect to me so I didn't listen. Drake ain't even popping like he was. Everybody is just in their own lil e-bubble doing what we they want, I guess.

Stupid beat.

50 pretty much ended his career, didn't he?

I wish he could've done the same to Rick Ross but not as effective there. Great to watch him take Ross' baby mom out shopping though.

Your a dumbass straight up 100% if you believe 1% of that post comparing Ja f'n Rule to Tupac, clown.

People who don't like him because they hear him complaining about bad boy or his beefs don't have a f'n clue what he was trying to accomplish with that either.

Emotional? I guess when you get robbed, shot, and set up for a rape charge, then go to prison you would get a bit emotional you ignorant SOB.

That is just a tad bit of basics on what happened with him. I won't go into detail because by now everyone "knows" Tupac's story and it's a waste of time. But if you honestly don't understand at all how stupid a "tupac was emotional lil biatch" claim is then really rap isn't your thing!

...he worked for Suge Knight. What can he say about diddy and co.?

Lol I didn't know Fif took Ross' baby mama shopping.

Ross and other rappers were invited to the WH to speak to the president about things and Ross' ankle monitor went off during the meeting.

Mashburned is terrible and embarrassing. If he's really trying to be hip hop and black, as it's always seemed, his desired race would be ashamed.

He proves over and over again he's way too young to speak knowledge on hip hop...he truly believes it all started with Ghostface, Freddie Gibbs, Alchemist, Action/Harry, etc. [laughing]

Poor guy.

Just a little mix of his stuff that is probably a list you've never even heard.

All dope, different, and on the unborn child track he just flows, but of course he is just so emotional!

Ja MF'n Rule[laughing] "The Rooooo Baby!!!!" In my best frog voice!

LMAO The track is unborn child...dear mama..JUICE...an emotional, cry-on-a-dime actor and a poet.

So let me get this right I post 4 songs you've probably never heard from Tupac Shakur, and your response is "the title is unborn child" so he is emotional?

And then you proceed to post a project pat and Gucci mane colaboration........2 of the least diverse rappers ever! Possibly less diverse than No Limit Records, and I'm not joking.

I mean, WTF is wrong with you? Seriously, is there any chance your retarded?

So to possibly divert this train wreck do you think Suge killed Tupac? Are you aware of anything that happened that got him sent to prison for rape? Or why he signed with Suge? Or why he made those songs so fast like he did?

You mentioned he never took time on anything and just laid track after track, or something to that effect.......are you aware of why that happened?

You also say he made a lot of money.......you sure about this? He sold a lot of albums but money he did not make.

My point is, you seem to really be hung up on BS, and not what is real most of the time.

Isn't rap always about what's real?

Ok listen to this, and try to best wrap your head around it. Then realize this dude, at 25, had already help organize the wild *** blood/crip gangs and put rules in place that strategically reduced killings and gang ignorance.

I honestly think you confuse emotions with passion. Truly passionate people can come off as arrogant and overbearing at times when you don't understand their goals or why those goals are so important to them.

Pac scared the **** out of the political class and he didn't believe in being manipulated and controlled. He also didn't like the BS black people was being sold out on as stereotypes and allowing it to happen.

Anyway just listen and educate yourself just a little bit.

Just learned Zach de la Rocha did some stuff with el-P (who sucks balls and I'll argue hard against any one of you hipster f's you thinks otherwise of that flat *** boring sound of his) and man he's so dope. He deserves some real grimy, multidimensional beats. Official ****, with real sounds. He could go up against a lot of rappers and murder them. Killer Mike, for one, obviously.

little better...with KRS

I could just listen to him spit for days. Wish he would.

that new/old ****.

You think Rage regrets losing Zach? The audioslave stuff was cool, but now they have Breal and Public enemy fronting for em.....lmao. Dont' ever google that. it's an awfully awkward sound that needs to stop ASAP.

I don't mind that ODAAL record at all....honestly surprised they didn't do more. Had a buddy who was a psycho Rage fan that burned it for me when it came out.

Jon Theodore is a beast no question.

It kind of just really **** on RATM and showed who the boss is...

Not to take anything away from them, they are beyond legends, but that sound is Zach's.

Is just really like to hear him on more rap stuff. Angry rap stuff.

Kanye just signed his BIL Tyga, or whatever. Travis Scott is the "it" artist...and young thug....man, pretty sad times for mainstream pop/rap. Drake looks like a legit HOF'er compared to this ****. These guys do not rap at all.

Travis is probably not worse than the newest GOOD signings....Tyga and Migos.

Dame Dash was on Drink Champs, only real interview I've heard from him....and Kanye makes so much more sense now, tbh. Very similar.

That nino man song is a chinx/harry fraud song - F UP OUT MY DOPE HOWW. Nino can actually rap, so that's a plus.

This all you really need today, tbh...

Shouts to whoever pieced that together. Man.

I could talk riff raff for a while. I've spared y'all because it's so obvious. I seen that **** from a mile away. Just like I saw mustard's future.

And Action. Lmao. I didn't really see that coming. He surpassed my expectations and jumped straight to TV. He really found his lane.

Project pat ft Yung Philippines

Pimp C dropped the mic Pat picked it up. That's a legendary back to back no interruption moment of history on a one hit wonder remix from Cleveland. Pat murdered Pimp, tho.

Oh boy my favorite thread!

Scarface's Deeply Rooted from 2014/15 was a damn fine album.

...exit plan is dope. Not on my ITunes cd tho. Figures.

One of my many favorites from that album...

Heard a lot of good buzz about Zro's latest, and it was centered around the production...it he's got legit production behind him, he would sound all world. I need to check that out.

Thanks to meek for bringing Beans back. Even with 1 lung mf'ers spits harder than anybody not named Styles P...or Scarface.

...P been in a whole nother zone since his son died Great example of someone who has continued to grow and perfect his craft.

...add that classic piano. Killer every time.
