Honestly...what's the big deal? She was always kind of a personal secretary who no doubt doesn't like DC. Timing is odd, but really a nothingburger, imo.

Timing is odd?

She testified to Congress yesterday. LOL.
She admitted to telling “white lies.”

LOL.

Yeah, nothingburger, lol.

So odd. She told everyone 3 weeks ago she would be leaving soon and she stayed around to testify to Congress before announce she was going to leave for obvious reasons.

Cite an article from three weeks ago.

Hold your breath while doing so.

Thanks.

I guess the whole concept of telling people she was going to leave but not announcing it until after her testimony is just a little to much for your tiny brain to grasp.

It's not exactly Breitbart claiming she's been talking about leaving for weeks, but the NYT and WaPo. Not everything's a scandal. It's a hot 29 year old that tired of DC. It's not like she was known for her political ambitions.

Yet no one can cite a single article from three weeks ago.

Strange.

How dense are you? Telling a reporter would have defeated the purpose of waiting until after the testimony to leave. If you ever wondered why everyone on the board things you are mentally challenged just look at this thread.

I'd guess that reporters don't blurt out stories the moment they hear them. The Times reporter that broke the story claimed it has been in the works for weeks. WaPo reported the same. I guess you agree with Trump and think they are FAKENEWS? Strange.

Because a story like that wouldn’t have been worthy of reporting?

LOL!

The White House Comms director is a little bit more than a "personal secretary". She was probably more than that too because she was apparently one of the people the rest of the staff counted on to convince Trump about certain things.

I doubt her leaving is because of what happened yesterday, but it's more than just her wanting to move on to something else. This White House is running through staff at a ridiculous rate and there seems to be a lot of infighting and drama there too. I don't think it's a place where talented people want to be and they certainly don't want to stay.

All white houses run through staff. I think CJ Craig is the only White house press secretary to ever last 8 years but the writers later screwed that up and made her chief of staff.

Somebody 29 years old wants to leave that **** hole of a town. Maybe she doesn't want to end up like so many in the town.

That's terrible. Just inept leadership that allows it. Why would any mayor want that in their city? I can not for the life of me understand that.
Huh? Nearly all cities of any size have a homeless population, bigger the city, bigger the problem usually. Also big cities with warm climates would likely have a worse problem.

We're too nice to our homeless. They get 3 meals a day from Manna Mission, steady heroin supply, etc.

Roanoke is probably bigger than Charleston, we don't seem to have the same problems that Coop alluded to. It's just the mind set of the leaders. There has always been derelicts and always will. You don't have to make it comfortable for them.

Seems to be more liberal the mayor, the bigger the problem. I know it isn't going away anytime soon and probably never will. Been derelicts since the beginning of time.

Bud, I live here, the only clueless person is you. I drive all around the city and you don't see that kind of stuff. Roanoke is liberal but they do try and keep it clean.
