Rattler getting some buzz

Played really well in their last game, albeit in a losing effort. Still doesn’t have a win as a quarterback. However, he is not the reason they are losing. Getting some buzz because at the moment his rating is higher than Caleb Williams. Granted it is an extremely small sample size for the season, but people seem to think he is progressing nicely.

You know, I didn't like him at first. The media influenced me. I thought he was over-hyped and a bit flashy - again, media perception on my part.

Looking back on it though, as far as I remember, he kept his head clean, image clean, said all the right things, worked hard to make it to a big pay day in the league and generally played well for us. It also helped his stock (with me) that he came back for another year. Kinda wish we could have got him during the mid 90's or early 2000's when staying for 5 years (and redshirting) was still a thing. He might have gone down as the best QB we ever had. - I wish him the best.

After spending so many years driving home from games fantasizing with my dad about how great it would be to have Steve Spurrier as our coach it was difficult to stand idly by and listen to the segment of fans who didn’t know they didn’t know when we got him; I experienced the same frustration when we got Rattler. I remember watching some televised high school all-star game when Ryan Hilinski had signed with us to see what we were getting only to find myself meh with Hilinski but super impressed with Spencer Rattler on the other team in that game. I’ve always said if you gave Rattler the teams Garcia and Shaw had we could very well have won a national championship. Best qb we’ve ever had imo, not even close.

I'm pretty sure he was the only 5* to play QB for Carolina.
