Well ...

According to one of the OM 'followers' here, Bucky was 'forced' by the Rawlings family to offer 'before' he agreed to visit. The family had already been informed by the State staff that if he went on the visit he risked getting his offer pulled.

Now that OM has another scalp in the 'crooting war, and now that Rawlings has ZERO D1 offers except OM the family has little or no leverage. Word is ... if numbers do get tight, look for his OM offer to MAGICALLY turn into a greyshirt offer.

That ain't gonna happen. Too much publicity with this kid now. First it would be a ****** thing to do to the kid. 2nd, we would have some ammo to use against them in the future. I'm not happy we aren't gonna get Sean to sign with us, but I don't blame him for going to the place he has grown up wanting to play football. Sure, our coaches were on him early and really wanted him to be part of this class. And I think Sean really enjoyed our coaching staff and his visit. But in the end, when Freeze missed out on a couple players and there was room for Rawlings to be included, he offered late and Rawlings jumped on. He's got a brother already in school there too. There wasn't a chance in Hell he was gonna stick if they offered.
