they may have taken masoli anyway though. But the story went that Cotton got pissed when he wasn't asked to be one of the instructors at the manning camp (being a starting rebel qb had previously pretty much guaranteed that you were included as an instructor). I think he was already sensitive b/c nutt would never name him the starter when he was by all accounts the best qb on the team.

Yea another 4star that didn't pan out for them. The guy seemed like he would do anything to get a chance under mullen.

It was a good Juco game. Maybe Cotton left TSUN to get developed as a QB which would not have happened under the "QB-killa".

with this class. Say what you want about Singleton, Brassell, Morrisand Johnson but I would have loved to have had them playing for us this year (well, Brassell would have played and the others red-shirted).

He couldn't consistently go during camp b/c of it. He should have taken the surgery and sat out, but he transferred to South Bama. He was 4th string there, and eventually left for MS Gulf Coast. No clue how he did there, but sounds like he has played. He showed some promise during spring camp at OM with big plays. He has a strong arm, but not the most accurate. Stanley was more accurate but less of an arm. Cotton would likely have beat out Stanley during the fall, but he left nonetheless.

by the championship game, another QB was starting. He is a gifted athlete with good size and speed. In the game I saw, he ran pretty well but struggled throwing (accuracy). If he has good hands, he would probably make an excellent big TE or WR.
