And I like the tweet is titled " no question"

It's extremely hard to pull a kid from down here with offers from instate SEC schools. Still, I wouldn't be shocked if we got a visit.

I'm recruiting you miss more than you hit. Good luck at State, on to the next.

Would be shocked if he left the south let alone his home state. We will probably get an official but he will stay in the south IMO.

Basically this is the worst commitment tweet i have ever seen. Who says they are committing but then says signing day is a long ways away so you never know what will happen. WHY even commit then if you feel that way and publicly state that in a tweet. Just dont get it. Just my opinion though. I think we knew all along anyways and offered another 2017 RB a couple days ago. Good luck at M State

I think they should call it a reservation. It's like when you are going to go out for dinner, you might call and make a reservation around lunchtime, but things could totally change by the time dinner rolls around.
^^This^^
Really sounds like he decided to take reservation and just have a spot available for him in-case there isn't a school he ends up preferring more.

I think it would help if college coaches would stick with a school they have committed to as well (up until their contract expires of course).
The problem with this is that coaches have to always have 4+ years remaining on their contracts, or it would be used against them in recruiting.

I agree completely. I just find it silly that if a high schooler commits, but still keeps his options open or end up decommiting then they are the bad guy. But a coach can jump from school to school and it's okay.

Curious if that goes for the school committing to the coach through his contract also?

Miss St has been pressuring him hard for a commit. IMO he probably thought, ok here have the commit but doesn't mean it will stick.

With my son going through the recruiting process, I have come to realize how hard the process is on these kids. The pressure these coaches put on them to commit is immense and I think some just commit to get the coaches to shut up. It is intense. I am so glad it is over. I can't imagine the relief my son felt to get it over. He is a pretty mild mannered kid and he had days where he was pretty testy, which was out of the norm for him.
