How many true running plays did we actually run? In the first two games I can't really tell what we have. Maybe we aren't running conventionally because we don't have a back worth giving it to, I don't know. We are passing or running triple option, and neither of theselet the running backs show anything. I can only assume thatwe don't have the players or we would be giving it to them.

maybe I'm not seeing what you are- but we look to be throwing the ball more for no apparent reason to me. Watch the replay and tell me how many times Ralph has run the read option?- it aint very damn many so far

We wasted 3 17'ing series in this game with Russell at QB...complete waste

Thought we did no option read last week because we were saving it for Auburn. When Relf kept it tonight, he did well, and the RB's got 3 to 5 yards on 1st down almost every time. But we rarely used it. It almost seems like Mullen is hell bent on throwing the football this year and getting Russell some game experience for next year. He said he didn't want to use Russell near our own goal line, but his only 2 drives in the 2nd half started on our own 10. I'm really confused about how all of that transpired. Should be some very interesting post game comments.

Pure genius! Mullen thinks he can run a two QB system, and the truth is that simply will not work unless you only bring in the other player when the starter is struggling or teams are stopping our running game and we have to air it out.

If Ralph fumbled snaps on the next two series, then what folks would be head hunting for "take his *** out" and it would have blown the lead beyond reach.

Mullen made some mistakes, but we were still in position to win at the end. </p>

We can replace the production we got from Dixon, but no his ability to make big plays. That was sorely missing tonight.
