I sure hope so gentleman we all who have teams in this thing have already crossed that line in some form, to me if a team arrives , shows up to play that is sign of disrespect, I know I may sound crazy but I expect a team to forfeit and not even bother to challenge. Once you install this mindset what you have is a bunch motivated, kick *** young men !
If I am not mistaken, the QB, RB and LB were all a part of the 4X100 relay team that won 1A last year. So they have some speed and the QB is dual threat. It will be a test of eye discipline for the Sussex LB's.

Yup and you can best bet Essex won’t be looking past them. We’ve been the most hunted team in these parts for years. Essex knows to expect all teams best.

Did both Region D games get moved to Saturday in 1A? I just checked the VHSL site and it has both of them playing at 1:30 tomorrow. Anyone???
We all know that there is track fast and football game fast which don't always play out as people think. The QB is certainly quick in pads but I couldn't tell you about the other two for sure. If the LB is that fast and can read the backfield, he could definitely disrupt the Tiger Veer. Should be a good one though.
Anybody know anything about Goochland? They play mostly small size schools, so I thought you would have some input.
Power football team on the offensive side that has a very capable defense as well. Well coached and plays composed but aggressive as you will see.

You have probably gotten your question answered by now but I think in the past Region D has sometimes started playing on Saturday earlier than the rest of us, so your information could be correct. Not quite sure why that is.
I think Sussex wins this going away based on what I saw of them in the playoffs last year. I know 1 year can make a difference but they were awful in last years playoff game. Unless they picked up Patrick Mahones or Tyreek Hill I think Sussex wins easily but thats just my opinion.
Last I heard PH/Holston was tonight. PH star RB Brown is out again.
Patrick Henry won comfortably. They'll host Region D final next week.
