STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State's season-opening football game will be televised by SportSouth in the state of Mississippi and on select Fox Sports Net affiliates throughout the nation.   While the game will be on DirecTV (Channel 649) and Dish Network (Channel 437) within Mississippi, several cable outlets do not offer SportSouth. Per a Fox Sports spokesperson, the following cable companies do NOT offer SportSouth in these markets...   - Comcast does NOT offer SportSouth in Hattiesburg, Meridian or Tupelo - Cable One does NOT offer SportSouth in Gulfport, Biloxi, Pascagoula, McComb, Cleveland, Grenada, Natchez or Yazoo City   DirecTV, Dish Network and AT&T carry both FOX Sports South and SportSouth in all areas of Mississippi they serve.   Outside the state of Mississippi, fans can locate the game on several platforms. A complete list follows...   - SportSouth, FSN Arizona Plus, Detroit, Houston, Midwest, North / Wisconsin, Ohio, Southwest Plus, Prime Ticket, ROOT Sports Pittsburgh and Rocky Mountain, Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area and Mid-Atlantic Plus, Comcast Network, MSG Plus   As always, you can find the radio broadcast on 26 local affiliates (listed here) and audio streaming online at MStateAthletics.com/M2Mlive.

If Columbus isn't covered by Comcast or Cable One, you've got a shot at it.
