Sanders is playing behind Moncrief. Moncrief is the real deal. Sanders looks like he could be pretty good, but I think he's going to have to start working in at other WR spots to get on the field, because Moncrief isn't going to give up much time.
And yes, he's a redshirt freshman that's had the opportunity to play in 2 games so far.
Singleton played a good bit in the return game last week. It looks like we may use him a lot more in the return game going forward. He looked good in the return game. He has a larger frame than Scott and he gets north and south in a hurry.
Johnson is playing some. I'm glad to see we aren't throwing him on the field if he's not ready though, like we did with Chris Strong in 2007. Most true freshmen don't come in and start from Game 1 at a position like LB unless you either have no one at the position, or your coach is trying to make some sort of statement. Even Shackelford had to work into the rotation as a freshman, and he's the real deal. How many of your true freshmen are starting? And what positions? Can we declare the rest of them busts yet?
