Committed to Georgia,
Watts Dantzler, a 6-foot-7, 315-pound offensive tackle,
was at the Auburn game this past Saturday as a Tigers’ visitor.
"I still talk to the Auburn coaches, in case something were to happen,” Dantzler said.
Meanwhile,
Dantzler’s visit to the Plains did nothing to dissuade him from
Georgia, despite Auburn’s 49-31 win. The Tigers were Dantzler’s No. 2
team when he committed to the Bulldogs last summer.</p>“I
left with about 10 minutes left in the game,” he said. “I had enough of
Auburn by then. I got treated very poorly while I was there. A lot of
the fans were getting on me, saying they didn’t want me there. I even
wore blue and everything. It wasn’t a very good day for me over there.”
