I don't know if discussed on here yet but shot I would welcome him with open arms at Kentucky. I think he is a great coach and he puts talent on the field. I don't know if he could match the talent level at LSU but I bet there are alot of Kids that would play for him. Pipedream of course!

Yes there us another thread on Miles and LSU... LSU Meltdown...

Yes he will probably not survive this. It's been brewing for about 2 years now.

Someone will scoop him up. He is an oddball, but an excellent head coach.

There's virtually no chance that Stoops gets fired, virtually no chance that he leaves for greener pastures (it's probably not an option at this point for him), and virtually no chance that Miles would be interested in coming here, if he does get fired.

LSU fan is mad because they believe Saban @ Alabama is what they could/should have. For all of LSU's history, success, tradition, etc., etc. they're still not Alabama.

Miles has 1 National Championship (and played for another) and 2 Conference Championships playing in the toughest division in the toughest conference in all of CFB. 110-32 at LSU thus far and 60-27 in the SEC. He's having back to back tough season mainly because (no matter who they recruit) they can't find a QB worth a damn.

Fire Les Miles and who do you get that's substantially better? And it's not like LSU hasn't been a total clustertouch before. I don't see the "huge name" waiting in the wings to take over. You go with an up and comer there and he's just as likely to be eaten alive by the job and no guarantee of even approaching what Miles has done.

I think he gets one more year since fournette will have one more year. If he doesn't do anything big next year, they'll ask him to resign.

Recruits tremendously well but never seemed to be able to land a top notch QB.

I agree. He clearly needs to re-assess how they're recruiting/developing the QB position at this point to be sure. But I think they're crazy to want to throw out the baby with the bathwater in this case. Unless they think they can get Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, or Mark Dantonio they're far more likely to downgrade than upgrade. Their choice to make though.

One episode of duck dynasty can about take care if that buyout. don't know if willie is in the miles bandwagon or not. But if right boosters are inside the dealings buyouts become irrelevant.
