isnt fun to watch real ,productive QBs in action, when all we do in Chicago is hang our hats on our defense.
Brady was average at best in college. Drafting the "next Brady" is a real luck of the draw.well will see some QBs coming out of college. I think Joe Burrows is the most Brady like QB I have seen. Not just the way he plays but also how he carries himself. Just saying.

A lot of hindsight going into any of this. I don’t believe a single person would have been happy with any of the three, nor do I think any rope would be given to any of them.
It’s almost like the most important position in sports is the hardest to scout.
I’m talking in general. There’s nothing to suggest that Watson or Mahomes would play the way they do now if they played in Chicago. The same with Trubisky in KC or Houston.Again it is just my opinion will see how it pans out in about 3-5 years.![]()

Before I answer that, could you first point me to where I said Trubisky was better than Watson?Did you watch Watson in at least both the Alabama/Clemson championship games?
If so which North Carolina.game were you watching where you thought Trubisky was better than Watson??

All true.I know Chicago's OL is not great but it's better than the Texans OL. No QB has gotten hit more than Watson even including after he releases the ball.
All true.
But where did I say Trubisky was better?
Yes, we know that now. Not a single one of us could have possibly known the gap would be this wide on draft day. That’s the point. If you weren't that's fine but Trubisky is not in the same league as Watson or Mahomes.

Well, then, I’ll take your lottery number suggestions.I did going back to draft day but I don't want to rehash all that now. You can read my posts on that subject here for the last 3 years going back to that draft day.
You’re so right. If the greatest QB ever was a 6th round draft pick, you may as well put a bunch of names on a board and throw a dart.Brady was average at best in college. Drafting the "next Brady" is a real luck of the draw.
Burrow’s dad played at Nebraska and was on staff with Frank Solich at Ohio U. That’s where Joe cut his teeth....as a coach's son. He has always lifted his teams through his leadership and toughness. He was in a real battle last year to be the starter at OSU with Haskins.well will see some QBs coming out of college. I think Joe Burrows is the most Brady like QB I have seen. Not just the way he plays but also how he carries himself. Just saying.

tbh, I didn’t think Pace had the balls to draft a QB. Obviously, his choice has not worked out, but I’ve always applauded him for pulling the trigger.Stripes,
I am in no way good and picking draft picks but this one I felt very strongly Tribisky was at best a second round pick.
I mean in that he identified his guy (right or wrong), and did what he could to get him. IMO, the aggressiveness was good.I can't applaud him for Tribs. I watched 3 of his NC games and saw absolutely nothing from him.

I agree. I would say smart move for Joe.Burrow’s dad played at Nebraska and was on staff with Frank Solich at Ohio U. That’s where Joe cut his teeth....as a coaches son. Urban and Day chose Haskins and JB chose to go elsewhere. Funny thing is, if he stayed in Columbus and was the starter this year we never would have gotten Fields. Pretty good trade for all involved I’d say.
Worst part of that story for Husker fans is they could have had Burrow TWICE, but they passed on both opportunities.Burrow’s dad played at Nebraska and was on staff with Frank Solich at Ohio U.
