Realistically, what do you think our record will be given our remaining schedule?
I still think we get to six. Our schedule is easy this year. If we cant win six then Croom should be canned. I think we will beat Tech, Vandy, MTSU, Kentucky, and WalmartU. But since I'm gonna catch hell anyway I will go ahead and say that I only think we have two games left on our schedule that we have no chance in (LSU/BAMA). Thats right i think we have a shot at Tennessee (because I watched the UCLA game). So given my expert analysis we have seven games left that we CAN win. I say we win four of them. In case you are wondering about my credentials for saying this.....I have never coached football at any level, but I can beat anyone on this board in Madden 09 with the falcons. Tell me why I'm an idiot....but at least be creative.

I think you are out of your damn mind counting GTech as a win. This is the week that we really feel the loss of Jamar Chaney. While I applaud Coach Harbison for having a great game last week, I think we are due for them to gouge us for at least 200 yards on the ground.

but our defense is built for speed. Ga Tech hasn't shown much of a threat to pass so I say we line up in man coverage on the outs and pull Pegues in close to plug up the middle or act as a qb spy. We also might do something crazy like blitz? As much as Auburn's o-line had to hold to keep us out of the backfield, I dont think Ga Tech is gonna be able to keep us out. Of course if our offense plays like they did then our defense might as well phone this one in.

let me add that what I meant was that we are only possibly better than 2 of the teams we have left. Middle Tenn and UPig are the only teams we should even remotely be favored over

I think we beat Mid Tenn, Ktky, and Ark. I will never concede the egg bowl no matter what our record is so I will hold out hope for that game also. We have a good defensive football team. I like teams that have better defense than offense over teams that have better offense than defense in the SEC.
I still think next year is our "year". <17> it.

And we go to Shreveport. I dont know how we are going to do it but we will eek out 4 more wins and save Croom half of that in years left.
Winnable games..... all of them (we play in the SEC)
We will find a way to beat MTSU, Kentucky, Vandy and either Arky or Mississippi.</p>

and its what I said before the season started- we dont have the OL to do it.
We are a team of ****** play-calling, average backs, and a below average QB. Last year, we have a better OL, especially on the left side. This year- not so much.
Vandy is the best of all those teams you mentioned, except maybe Mississippi. And our home advantage goes away after these next two losses when we are 1-4. Plus, with smart players, they will have our offense down pat by Tuesdays practice.
We are pretty good defensively, BUT- we have been gameplanning Auburn for months now. We put so much time and energy in this one game, and we fell short. We wont have everybody else scouted as well and wont shut down others like we did Auburn.

How do you expect us to be 6-6 if we win 4 more games? That would make us 5-7...

I say if we lose to GT, we win homecoming game and that' it. The defense is already going to be deflated after what happened on Saturday. One more outing like that by our offense and the defensive guys will start quitting on us.
If we win at GT, maybe we win 2 to 3 more. (Out of Vandy, Kentucky, Ark and Ole Miss)
