I think at this point, as in RIGHT NOW, you're right. But Dak has shown he can throw the ball well. He'll be a force the next 2 years (unless he suffers the MSU QB curse his Sr. year).

I think another reality is that Russell is very average. I thought he'd eventually develop into a great passer, but he hasn't. He's a FULL level below Mettenberger and the others.

Yeah, each time one was in, you cringed about something.

Relf missed open receivers by a full step, and Russell set up camp in the pocket and got clobbered.

I think with Dak looking so good early and then having to head to the sideline

it's hard to get in a rhythm. I guess it can be said for both, but Dak relies on his legs and I think the more he's in there the better he is. Russell, well he's Russell. He's going to take a sack about every series.

Accuracy is tough thing to develop as a QB, but I think Dak has to be our guy going forward with a 70/30 split between the two depending on game flow.

Our OL is well below average pass blocking. Dak's legs are an asset with a bad OL.

Very impressed with Tyler coming in as he did with 2 TD passes. He's conducted himself well as a MSU player and deserves no "boos." After seeing Tyler and Dak play, Dak should start from here on out. Offense clicks better with him behind center and isn't as hit or miss. Yea, he threw a pick and missed a man downfield for a sure TD, but he's only started 4 games. There were some dropped passes as well. He's passing will improve and his running threat is legit. It's time to build around the Dak Attack.

never heard of you Klong, but you speak mighty words of wisdom concerning Dak keeping rhythm.
