Beamer's buyout protects him. We have to face reality. The fact that we don't have success is due to the fans. The resources are there and have been for years and years. We allow the administration to make dumb decisions and waste those resources time and time again without holding the people in power accountable.
There as been no real success in men's sports over the past 12 years other than a final four run where we got hot at the right time. If you win 8 or 9 games, then you get an extension and a huge buyout. We hire coaches that have proven that they can't do the job (Muschamp) or coaches that are unproven (Beamer). A SEC school shouldn't be a proving ground for a coach.
