How is Patterson not getting a minimum of 20 offensive touches a game? I kept thinking this the whole game. He would get a touch, make a big play then sit out 3 or 4 plays.

In all seriousness I would have him as a deep back 10 yards back and pitch the ball back to him

Yep. We showed no ability to stop him when he had the ball.
If the ESPN play-by-play is to be trusted, he had 7 touches (including the lateral on the kickoff at the end) for 195 yards and 2 TDs. There was no reason he should've had any less than twice that number of touches. Thanks Dooley.

That guy was unbelievable. Did we ever actually tackle him? Seems like we just eventually got him out of bounds but I ain't sure he ever touched the ground.

Best player I've seen in person since Darren McFadden, best offensive weapon in the SEC since Percy Harvin.

Yep. In every critical possession, he'd come out of the game on some 3rd down play and I would feel relief and bewilderment. That guy can score from anywhere.

Yeah. 100 yard kickoff return. Not in football shape.

I can relate. I ran one back on our team when I was relieving our scout team. I'm not in football shape either.

Every bit of this and then some. And guess what? That dubmass Kiper doesn't even have him rated above Hunter. 84 was the best player in the stadium.

He was one play at a time. Watch the replay. Why else was he coming out of the game?
Hunter and Patterson both spent a lot of time on the sideline. It was part of Dooley's rotation. The man is coaching himself out of UT.
