I doubt it... If they think getting rid of Nutt and Boone will fix all their problems they are in for a rude awakening. Seriously, they are in the sweepstakes for this only because of his brother. I really don't think he ends up there he sees them play this year.

Want to call the attention of NCAA, try going 2-10 and then having a top 5 or 15 recruiting class. That ought to do it.

They don't have a provenQB, they don't have an RB, they don't have any LB's and their OL is still not good and they just lost their best one to the NFL.

Of the 18 4 or 5 stars they've signed since 2009, 7 of them were DL, 5 aren't on the roster anymore inBarksdale, Bobbie Massie, Pat Patterson, Raymond Cotton, and Damien Jackson,4 listed as WR's in Singleton, Moncrief, Randall Mackey, and Vincent Sanders, and 2 at CB in Brassell and Senquez Golson. That type of position breakdown in the top talent isn't going to get you many places. I'm not saying 4 and 5 stars are the be all and end all, but the positionbalance of their top talent is not good and more than 1/4 of that top talent isn't even on the roster anymore.

What the hell could Ole Miss possibly offer the kid that Bama and LSU can't? I know his brother plays there, but they are blowing that fact way out of proportion.

Bama and LSU can get him that hardware and the NFL recognition he wants. Ole Miss can waste him and watch him play on a suck *** team for the foreseeable future. Dude's not going to Ole Miss.

The OP in there talks about a top five class........LMFAO. A 2-10 team pulling in a top five class with a HC who has never been anywhere but a directional school in Arkansas? First off, if that happens, they cheated their asses off, and it will be really, really obvious.

Second of all, it just aint gonna happen.

Yeah. Seriously. That is the most overblown argument I have ever heard about his brother playing there.

let those dumbasses waste their time and money all year on a guy that will never sign with them. They just keep on trying to strike it rich with one player. It's not basketball.

on the ACT didn't seem to raise any eyebrows. Especially when a lot of people familiar with Singleton said the 16 was probably reaching too.

and tony conner after going 3-9, Saban is going to be pissed. Two players ranked number one at their positions that Saban obviously wants badly. The ncaa could give two ***** if MSU is pissed, but let bama get pissed and they will be snapping to attention.

I am pretty impressed with Hugh so far as a recruiter. The question will be can he keep the momentum through a 4 win season.

Yea because pulling a kid who has family at OM, while living 20 miles from Oxford is odd. Also pulling a kid whose brother is on the team screams cheating. Everyone in the nation would understand why both guys chose OM.

because two top flight players have brothers on the team, they both will go to a bottom of the barrel program just to be with their brothers? It might happen from time to time, but this would be playing against the percentages. I love it when bear fans try to convince us that everything is on the up and up.

I always love that bears think that they are just so close to us... "we are only one spot behind you" along with "well, MSU hasn't beaten but one team in the SECW" but that team happens to be and y'all have beaten us handily for 3 years in a row....
