I will say you guys beat Central Arkansas and Tulane. But the rest of your schedule is UTEP, Texas, TAMU, Bama, Arkansas, MSU, Auburn, LSU, UGA, and Vandy. Who the hell else are you going to beat in there? Don't say Vandy because they will have another decent team next year and have beaten you guys twice in a row. Don't say MSU because we've beaten you 3 years in a row and it hasn't really been close in any of those. UTEP maybe?
I see another 0-8 conference year for OM because the only team you match up with is Vandy, and even they havethe potential to be better than you next year. OM's ceiling is 4 games. Period. Who would you rather have to lead your program back from the depths? Mullen walks through the door with national championship rings as an OC from a prolific offense. Does Freeze even have a state championship ring from his days in memphis? Who are players going to respect more?

..or any of that, you can't logically argue that your team was anywhere close to our team last year. Not that our team was that great - we weren't. But we crushed you by 28 points in a game that was over in the 2nd quarter. There was no comparison between the two.

But my comment was tongue in cheek. All I said was y'all have won more recruiting championships in the past five years than we have. Therefore its no surprise you have been more talented. Y'all are far too sensitive if you're getting this upset about someone saying we finished "right behind you in the standings". There was a gap at the start of the season between the two programs, and that gap got even bigger once Nutt was fired and did absolutely nothing, whether it was coaching or making players come to practice. The point the other guy made is valid though. We destroyed y'all 45-0. A coaching and AD change occurs and you're now a different program because of it. Do not be ignorant and assume that cant happen to us.

The semantic of "miles away" just seems a bit wrong-headed to me. Again, 31-3 is what it is. An asswhooping. But as someone who watched every game last year, our talent was not 2-10 bad. We had a coach who entered the year unprepared, was lazy, lost the team early on and THEN, our dumbass administration decided to fire him but allow him to continue coaching the last three games. Its like they forgot that the last three included 2 against our rivals. The team quit on the coaches, then for the last three games the coaches literally did not give a ****. That's why you have stuff like Mackey and Jeff Scott getting suspended three days before the Egg Bowl. Its why you have ESPN telestrators pointing out Ralph Williams just standing flat-footed and watching a tight end run right past him and catch a TD. They didn't care.<div>

Bobby Massie, who is about to be drafted in the late first or early second round, was a fat revolving door at RT last year. that Freeze is smart enough to realize how far up his *** the NCAA will be if he does land them, so he'll make sure everything is as watertight as possible. Not saying we won't cheat, just that I would hope they're smart enough to be very, very careful how they do it.
