I want to post this prior to Massie's announcement because I don't want it to sound like sour grapes if you get him. Is there any truth to the story that Nutt has such a good relationship with Hargrave and signs so many kids out of there because he once made a large donation to the school? If true, I say good for him and don't see why more coached wouldn't do the same thing.

but he does recruit awfully well from there. Maybe its a basketball type deal where he was able to legally give the coach some kind of compensation at some point and it has helped him. Im not saying that happened, just that it wouldnt suprise me.

He does apparently have a really good relationship with the head football coach there, Prunty. Whether that's just because he's such a great guy or because he's given to the program, I don't know. I do know that if he has given to the program, it would be a wise investment, at least as long as he is covering it up well enough to not get in trouble with the NCAA.
