I would only agree to that if we could add a 13th regular season OOC game. The way NIL is strangling many ADepts., that might happen sooner than we think. IMO, the 13th game could be played at the end of Spring Practice in lieu of a boring Spring game. And the game would count in the official standings just like a fall game. So everyone would be 1-0 or 0-1 before August practices even began.
With the current portal situation, your team in April may not even resemble the team you have in September. Fixing this portal disaster needs to happen first before any other changes are considered. What a cluster…….

I just hope they fix the current SEC schedule. I don't like it. It gives the power teams too many easy conference games. It should be like the NFL used to be. The worse you were one year, the easier your schedule the next. That's how you create parity when you can't pay like the big guys. Go 0-8 in 2024, in 2025, you get to play Vandy, Arkansas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Auburn, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Missouri.
Next thing I do to create parity. You finish 0-8, you get 40 signees, portal transfers and high school/juco but if you finish 8-0 you get 10 signees period!

I remained convinced that the only logical explanation for Mississippi State's SEC schedule in 2024 & 2025 is that LT was very involved in making the schedule.
