With his yardage gained last night he has unofficially moved into 8th place in the VHSL career receiving yardage. I know he had over 2500 to start the season and needed just under 250 to move into top ten.No record was broken.

Seth Phillips had 2505 coming into his senior year. As of now he is at 286 yds. for the season. Bringing his total career receiving yards to 2791. Stats can be found on the VHSL website if you would like to check them.
Googled all of them. Found info on all but 1. All played college ball. A couple are business owners and a couple are coaching at the college level now. One is or was playing in the cfl and or arena.Did any of these go to nfl other than harvin?
No injustice. Statement was "unofficial". Won't be official til VHSL verifies stats and certifies correct stats. He and his parents know this.Thats great but why do the kid an injustice by purposely mistating his accomplishment?

Stats are in the state record book. Which top ten in the state record book. So technically it is a state record broken. So top ten in the state record book is a record broken. Just as suspected from reading other comments in other posts. I guess I should apologize to him for actually wanting to let people know. While breaking into the top 10 is a heck of a accomplishment, I think the point was you named the thread "state record broken" which isn't true.
