I wonder if other recruits would be there again like Amato or Borge, especially since Amato could help sway commits to us.
Is it common for recruits to take multiple official visits to a school? Like Borge and Amato coming back to maybe help the other recruits and close the deal with Borge?
Borge has visited IC a couple of times.
One official per school but an unlimited number of unofficial ones. The latter is very, very common.
I just checked Wrestlestat. Ryder wrestled Danny Pucino, Illinois, 17 Jan and Jesse Mendez 25 Jan, both well into the 2nd semester. Again, it's not like rules are strictly being enforced these days ie 250 mile RTC perimeter.

Israel Borge is really really good. Which a lot of you already know that; but just wanted to let you know of the free video. Also, to give you more data about one of the kids we are recruiting.
Great offense and great in neutral! And seems great on top, just needs to polish a few things in neutral. Really really really good prospect, makes sense why us and Nebraska are heavily recruiting him. He also beat Fred Bachmann on his way to the finals. The match was extremely close and came down to a takedown though. Just shows how good the Bachmann bros are!

Yea I posted Melvin vs Dhabolt's Super 32 match and it kept saying it was unavailable (even though it's not) and apparently there's no delete post button so I thought that was the most inconspicuous way to edit it. Served a purpose though, got a chuckle out of your response.
RE: Kenny/Bachmann (and any other visitors this weekend) - our Dennis Scheidt (maybe better known as Hawkeye Images on social media) will be taking photos pregame this weekend and is going to try to get some shots of the wrestlers.

No one in the active recruiting thread wants to note Dawson Youngblut from Bosco committed? #29 on the current and soon-to-be-updated Big Board. Kind of a surprise he’s not going to UNI, at least to me. Good get.
Writing up a story on the commitment now.
Youngblut ranks #29 overall on Flo’s 2027 Big Board, is a 2x Iowa state champ, and just finished 6th this past weekend at Super 32 (138lbs).
If you knew his family, you'd know this is not that big of a suprise. Congrats to Dawson.

Joey Bachmann won't be lower than 157 imo.
he's wrestling 150 this season (should see Bassett on several occasions (Ironman/Beast/State Duals/State IND))
and he has another year after that.
i was with him in Greece for Cadet Worlds. i hadn't seen him in like 3 months and couldn't believe how big he'd gotten.

I kept watching his recent videos and couldn't figure out why he was projected at 149 / 157. He looked so small to me, both short and kind of narrow in the shoulders. He must have had a huge growth spurt.
If he got really big, really quickly I would call him a PSU lean
